Living Within Memory
MEMORAMA is conceived as a house shaped by memory, a project that explores how spaces, materials, and sensations can evoke deep recollections and experiences.
Rather than a standalone dwelling, the project functions as a domestic oasis where landscape, water, and architecture intertwine.
The proposal draws inspiration from Mediterranean architecture reinterpreted within a tropical context, incorporating noble materials such as stone, wood, and concrete, complemented by steel as a structural and expressive element.
The house opens generously toward the pool and surrounding gardens, creating spacious, airy environments deeply connected to the outdoors. The home is best experienced through movement, ideally barefoot, allowing inhabitants to feel the variety of textures that shape the project: the warmth of wood, the roughness of stone, the solidity of concrete, and the softness of fabrics.
In this way, MEMORAMA is not only visually inhabited but also experienced through touch, transforming each path through the house into an intimate dialogue between architecture, body, and landscape.
